I would, without hesitation. I think if im the only one whose immortal, fine but if others have this as an option we need to change a few things. If we CAN live forever so long as we avoid problems like being run over, fine but if not, no reproducing. All males must be given a vasectimy, payed for by the government. Any convicted criminals of a certain level (how bad they are determined by a system of councilors approved by the puplic) will not be made immortal. Those who want to reproduce have to wait untill the population die down. Also space travel needs to be main goal.

I want to live forever, I want my consciousness upon my death to be able to escape my body and then jump into another body. This way I can pick who I want to be, I do not have to worry about new identities and if everyone else dies I die too. Removes that wondering around the end of the world problem.

I think it would be awesome to live forever. I want to see what humanity becomes 2000 years from now. I want to see if we become what Frank Herbert illustrates in Dune. I want to be the Padishah Emperor.
Personally I would not want to live forever. Love would be pointless as you WILL see your SO die over and over every time you love. See your kids die, over and over as you procreate. Be without your mother and father so long you forget their voice, smell, feel. I would lose myself and want to end it. Love and family mean too much to me to watch the people I love die over and over. But that's just me, I could also understand that it would be really cool to see the world develop more and more throughout the centuries. That I would love.

I guess my question worded a bit strange. Every person on earth has the option to live as long as they want through the miracles of science. Your family could stay alive with you.

I wouldn't want to live forever. I like life, but I think after about a hundred years of it, it's enough. I've done my thing at that point, my body won't be in the shape it's in now, and it's time to quit.
The eternal nothingness doesn't scare me at all. If anything it seems like a nice thing to sleep forever and just stop existing as, dark as that may seem.
