Living forever sounds appealing, but on the flip side it reminds me of an episode of Star Trek Voyager where the Q don't say anything because everything that can be said, has been said, or done.

Yes I want to live forever. How else would I play Half-Life 3 when it's released in the year 3000?

I would like to live forever and never die by means of a body that never ages and stays in perfect health. All of the talk of boredom without the constant specter of death strikes me as unimaginative. There is a lot of shit out there to do. I cannot imagine growing bored of the universe.

I'd like to live forever, but not at the cost of my body and human sensory experience. I also don't see the point of a clone carrying on, since that clone would be a unique consciousness, not a continuation of my own.

that restoration of a backup concept would be worthless to me as well. The newly spawned instance of me would in no way prevent the cessation of my original consciousness. From his perspective things would be peachy keen, but from mine, I'd be dead.

Hell yeah I wanna live forever! I want my brain in robot gorilla body so I can stronger than all the people and smarter than all the gorillas. Plus, I'll be on the winning side of either a Terminator or Planet of the Apes situation.

I would like to live for a long time say several hundred years but not forever. Reason is after a while you see the human race making the same mistakes over and over and that would get old (no pun intended) and you would be powerless to stop it. I think just having my aging clock stopped and living for say 300 years would just about right then just fall over dead.
