100% it's going to be "we found a few nanoparticles of liquid water" or some stupid fucking pointless thing that would have been cool 40 years ago but is ancient news by today's standards.

Yeah, they probably just verified a widely-speculated hypothesis so it won't be major news. It's a reasonable guess anyway. It's okay to be skeptical of the hype.

Even if it's non-intelligent life I don't really give a fuck. Finding some bacteria or microbes on another rock in outer space? Cool fact to know, but that makes zero practical difference to my life or anyone else's.

It doesn't? because you know that it makes the chance of intelligent life existing on other planets much higher, no? The fact that life may be on multiple planets in one solar system at all could be a shock.

Go look at Secure Team 10's newest 2 videos if you want to see what is going on. Super cool.

We're under contract with the Martian government NOT to reveal their existence!

A rebel base, but they estimate it's been deserted for some time.

How can Curiosity take a picture of itself from a distance?

You're thinking of Ganymede. That's the one that orbits Jupiter. Gaymede orbits Uranus.

Wind on Mars blows the sand/dirt off of Curiosity.

Curiosity has more then one camera to take pictures.

Multiple cameras, taking multiple pictures, which are assembled into an entire image.

Yeah right. The day NASA admits anything about ET, is the day the jew no longer holds power in the USG.

We could spend all our time and resources turning this planet into a paradise, only to get wiped out of existence the next day by any number of terminal natural disasters.

We should instead be spending vastly more resources in developing the technology needed to leave this miserable little dirt ball, otherwise we're fucked long term as a species.

This^^

One of, if not the biggest major hurtles every intelligent life form must face. If we don't make it off this rock then does any of it really matter.

We are dinosaurs just waiting for the lights to go out.

"They" haven't even figured out what planets are in Alpha Centauri much less how to cover the 26 trillion miles

leave this miserable little dirt ball

Life is unique to Earth based on all evidence and calling it miserable just shows your ignorance of scientific fact.

They found rich oil and gold reserves guarded by an evil Martian dictator who refuses democracy, multiculturalism and diversity. Guess NATO now has to bomb Mars and feee the fuck out of.

Gold and stuff is fine but finding one of those super rare elements that only meteors deposit would be better since some are worth 100x more than gold since there are only a few pounds or ounces ever found but have exceptional qualities for manufacturing.
