Would buzz aldrin be as famous if he didn't have such a cool name? Nobody ever seems to reference Michael Collins, the pilot of the craft that brought Armstrong and Aldrin to the moon, and I can't help but feel that's partly because of his rather dull moniker.

Every time NASA says this it's nothing significant and now I don't even pay attention.

They found rich oil and gold reserves guarded by an evil Martian dictator who refuses democracy, multiculturalism and diversity. Guess NATO now has to bomb Mars and feee the fuck out of.

Gold and stuff is fine but finding one of those super rare elements that only meteors deposit would be better since some are worth 100x more than gold since there are only a few pounds or ounces ever found but have exceptional qualities for manufacturing.

A rebel base, but they estimate it's been deserted for some time.

Yeah right. The day NASA admits anything about ET, is the day the jew no longer holds power in the USG.

Oh cool! I hope it's an announcement about extra-Terrestrial live, in that case!

We could spend all our time and resources turning this planet into a paradise, only to get wiped out of existence the next day by any number of terminal natural disasters.

We should instead be spending vastly more resources in developing the technology needed to leave this miserable little dirt ball, otherwise we're fucked long term as a species.

leave this miserable little dirt ball

Life is unique to Earth based on all evidence and calling it miserable just shows your ignorance of scientific fact.

This^^

One of, if not the biggest major hurtles every intelligent life form must face. If we don't make it off this rock then does any of it really matter.

We are dinosaurs just waiting for the lights to go out.

"They" haven't even figured out what planets are in Alpha Centauri much less how to cover the 26 trillion miles
