Luckily the 2nd amendment can be redefined to gradually take away whatever guns you might have, especially if they know who owns what due to a national ID with a national firearms registry.

No. Those that would trade freedom for a little alleged "added security" deserve neither.

Yes i normaly agree with that statement.. but right now ive been looking into traveling and brining a gun could get you a felony charge.. its total bullshit.. i dont see any security in getting a national id but i see a ton of security in being able to travel freely with a gun.. it would have to come with a contitutiknal amendment adding that the 2nd amendment is to keep humans free from tyranical goverment not for fucking hunting or a god damn militia the founding fathers fucked up by not clearly stating it is not about a fucking militia its about humans having rightz and the right to defend your self shall not be infringed

Nope. "National ID" represents a grave risk to free citizens and is a hallmark for totalist regimes. The ideal state is one where a fellow is safe to presume the citizenship status of another and and in a clear conscience afford another the benefit to enjoy their rights. We're not there yet, because our country is being invaded, pillaged and eroded from top to bottom.

All that said, national ID would only fix things for a dictatorship.

I’m against that for the same reason. And it makes it easy for systematic confiscation. Easy to make lists so brown shirts can run from door to door with a shopping cart.

My question to you: Why do you feel that you need a “permit” to exercise something you believe to be a “right”?
