“Cross-site” is usually used in a negative context, e.g. cross-site scripting (XSS) refers to a security vulnerability when you make use of form elements or other inputs to inject content from a different domain than the one that the user thinks he’s viewing.

Based on the comments though I can only guess that he means being able to set a personal stylesheet that works across the entire site, on top of each subverse’s custom stylesheet.

This is unlikely to be added as a feature to Voat, but you can use a browser extension like Stylish to customise any site with client-side CSS.

Thank you. I don't want a sitewide CSS for myself but I've spoken with others who do. I have gone through too much work on my own subverses for it to be negated by someones personal XS-CSS.
