That's interesting, but I'm not sure there's many preventative things we can do if one of these decides to blow, other than warn people around them in advance.
It's not like you can just drop a big cork in them and stop them from erupting.
Evacuation Prepping could be planned, as well as any signs of increase in activity/tectonic movement. I am not sure if the technology exists, but I would imagine a wave based sensor could detect if any given chambers were filling with earths molten hot MAG-ma
