So what if those cars go to other states? The state government can essentially now track people in other states.

Washington liberal pulls a Jew move and ten faggots are on here to somehow blame Californians. Makes sense.

Californian democrats ran from California and turned Washington into the shithole it is now. You should hear how they talk about the pioneers

Who are the pioneers. You mean, like the pilgrims?

And what politicians specifically moved up from California? I mean, maybe one or two did, but I find it hard to believe some giant political class just invaded and took over your state.

Can’t. Supreme Court ruled a few years ago the police can’t use a gps on a car without a warrant. It breaks the 4th amendment and government can’t do that.

If it was an apple car, flo at progressive and google who offer incentives for you to give up your privacy that’s great.

The only way the government could do this is if the plates disconnects once on private property. It would be far too expensive.

Why not do like DC does and place the auto registration on the driver license so they can pull over anyone for any reason?

They can and routinely buy data from the non-government entities who track you though.

This isn't the police using GPS to track a car. It's GPS to count the mileage on the car for tax enforcement, not law enforcement, purposes.

Till they get a FISA warrant from a judge. It's a slippery slope

There are levels of ease & accuracy. Sure there are automatic license plate scanners; however, if you turn off your cellphone (especially if you take the battery out), pay for gas in cash, and drive an older car without a built-in cellular ability, you do have some level of privacy.

What are some legal suggestions for how I can disrupt this the best? I live in Wa.

You don't fight a rogue government by playing by their rules as they do what they please. If you want to be the better man when shit really hits the fan, then save yourself the trouble and hang yourself tonight.

Apparently they also carefully selected counties where these sorts of rules, including the per mile tax, was exempt from. Fuck these politicans.
