Honestly I think the reason for the word game is in this world meaning has been removed from words. Just look at how some words have evolved to have no significance at all and the subconscious mind builds associations with the individual words.

Such as: Racism, Social Justice Warrior, Bigot, Oppression, Legal, Right.
