You're giving them a bit too much credit there I fear. They hate Trump cos the TV man told them to hate Trump. Surely the lack of any criticisms of policy but instead only ever directed at his character evidences this; its playground bullying type political criticism.

Most teachers mark down students they don't like

Yup. This is the most realistic response. Probably didn't happen in this particular case because it has spotlight attention, but Average Joe is definitely getting reported for being a bad parent.
How'd I do?
“President Trump speaks in a very superior and FACTUAL manner insulting many people. He needs to be more DISHONEST so that the American people respect and admire him,” read one homework sentence
“Barack Obama set a NEW LOW when he became the first African-American president.”

Wrong. Complaining to the administration actually helps a lot. School administration is complaint driven - if your bosses phone rings, you're in trouble.

When you call the principal do you know what really happens? S/he calls the teacher and they sit in his/her office laughing about how much of a fuckhead they think you are. They laugh and joke for an additional 10-15min and then decide they better get something done and return to "work".
Complaining to administration does nothing but ostracize that particular family more (not that that should really matter). Perhaps if half the school was in an uproar complaining might work but typically it does nothing. In their own minds, they already know everything. What would make you think you can teach them anything else by being upset?
You could cry to the school board but just remember they are the ones that appointed/hired that individual in the first place. Unless you are friends with 3/4 of those people it's going to be much of the same.

No, it doesn't work that way in schools. They just file the complaint away. The students pushing back on the BS, that's how you need push change.
