It is. The reason our morning meal is called breakfast is because we are breaking a fast with the meal.

Yeah she's a delusional cow, but any period without eating can be technically referred to as a fast. Said the death fat, "I just had the toughest 30 second fast of my life!"

Exactly. I never got on the fasting health trend because you already fast once a day anyways. BMR is 24/7, it's why coma patients don't become obeasts (well that and the hospital precisely controlling their calories intake since they have to be fed via tube).

People who say that is "genetic" have to see the coma patients. I saw with my eyes an obese friend lose all the weight when in coma, becasue he was fed with some liquid counted calories. He regained all and plus after.

Intermittent fasting is legitimate. Its also not about just not eating at night. The point is to get all your calories for the day in between 4 - 6 hour window and eat nothing else before or after.

I bet between 5:50 and 6pm it eats enough calories to sustain a healthy-weight woman for at least 3 days.

I think it's an excellent effort, assuming she averages 1000kcal per hour during her non-fasting hours it should take her down to 12,000 a day which is bound to be an improvement.

Ha ha. Clearly fats are delusional and have brain damage.

Uhh 12 hours is fasting... I mean hate the moronic fat and all but yeah half the day with out food is pretty common fasting time for medical stuff.

I'm always surprised at how terrible people are at going for long periods without food. Even non-fats sometimes. They act like they're on the verge of collapse if they're deprived of food for more than about five hours, at which point I'm subjected to exclamations about how STAAAARVING they are at five minute intervals until we can go get food, or god forbid they have to "skip a meal" which usually just means have to delay usual mealtime by more than one hour.

To be honest - I'm one of those who's starving after five hours without food. I go to the gym five times a week, have no car and do everything based on walking and public transport. I'm getting ravenous after a few hours, but that has a reason other than "thut donut in my head is sedushing me again".

Any normal healthy person in good shape uses mainly glycogen to power their body. If you run out you get hungry/shaky for a while while your body switches over to ketosis and has low/limited available energy.
