Here are the risks on diving as an obeast.

It's not just the fatalities, but diving incidents are higher with the obese, which endangers everyone.

This, so much this! It's dangerous. I'd nope the fuck out if I was assigned an obeast as a dive buddy.

I want it to stay out of the water to keep the sea level down.

When a piece of plaque breaks loose from an artery and blocks a vessel in the brain, which doctor can't get sued?

‘Going off the charts’ on a medical test is not a good thing. More doesn’t equal better. Obese divers are at an increased risk of decompression sickness, poor oxygenation, they are also less efficient at rescuing themselves or their buddies in an emergency. The first doctor was probably...you know...trying to save your life?

"The first doctor was probably...you know...trying to save your life?"

What an asshole. Should have encouraged additional dangerous activities instead.

Yup. And if she’s so confident in her health to be diving, what was the cause for the doctor visit?
