You are absolutely right. That's why (((they))) are fucking terrified. Their propaganda machine has broken down.

I agree. I’m a lot more comfortable openly stating that Jews are ruining everything and it seems like it’s common knowledge nowadays. It’s practically impossible to defend the Jew.

I think there are a lot of opinions in Voat that are not common among the general public... but there are also plenty that are, not necessarily because places like Voat have a wide reach, but rather because we are trying to speak the truth. Some truths are complicated and escape the grasp of the general public. Some truths are antithetical to the brainwashing people have been getting since birth, and so most people won't think about or engage them.

But the leftwing globalist multicultural nonsense stands against some truths that are so basic and obvious, that it's hard to fully brainwash anyone who has any experience in the world at all. These simple truths we preach might not seem commonly held, since the mass media would never portray them that way, and since the average person who is scared of being ostracized wouldn't shout them from the rooftops. But, in my experience, if you get to really know people (outside of the ideological sinkholes of places like Berkeley and Seattle), they'll admit that plenty of things are wrong with the mainstream culture's values, and that they hold some "offensive" opinions.

Internet comments sections give people a semi-anonymous forum to voice these views without much fear of repercussions.

I think it is the main reason why major news websites all used to have comments sections, and some used to celebrate it as engaging their audience... and now most of them don't. People know the narrative is fucked. The average person might not see the whole picture, and they might have some cognitive dissonance, but anyone paying attention knows that they are being manipulated somehow and that some mainstream values must be wrong.

The public was probably always just a little bit closer to Voat than it seemed.

It's convergent evolution of thought. Similar environments produce similar outcomes.

and when we finally wake up our financial masters will either EMP us or destroy our financial well being. Sending the US/a lot of the world in a famine never seen before.

Our newly found awakening will immediately divulge into fuck everyone but me mentality. Gangsters, rapist and destroyed souls will wander the streets looking for their next victim to abuse and mutilate.

Depends on where you are.

Sure, the multicultural big cities of the West, which already have little-to-no social cohesion, will fall apart into crime-ridden, self-absorbed hellscapes.

But there are smaller, more homogeneous communities where social currency means more than money on a local level already. Some of these places have access to considerable farmland, have low welfare rates, and have a hardworking and productive culture. These places are primed to be self-sufficient if necessary, and if they are remote enough that they don't have deal with waves of refugees from the cities, they'll probably do alright in the event of large-scale social collapse.

Anyone who is wise and capable, at this point, is learning some productive skills, arming themselves, and moving their family out of the cities into small and healthy communities. Those people will probably survive in large numbers.

Well... while this is the likely scenario, there’s still hope that we simply transition to an economic model that works (might take a few years but it doesn’t have to be the end of the world)

I think it's because what people are being told and what people are seeing are fundamentally different. It causes people to question the narrative. When that happens the people with the fact based explanation will eventually win the people over. Thus the slow tide of nationalism in Europe.

I agree, we're not nearly as big as other places. I'm thinking most of the time all we hear is shit from lefty TV, it sets a false tone. Then when entered into the public square dissenting opinions are far greater in numbers.

This has been my experience as well. And I have lived in both California and Chicago land. Some of the most liberal places in the nation. Many people in both locations in real life have dissenting opinions opposing the leftist views. But it's just that those are average people who don't go around spouting their views to everyone.

I see the pink haired wackjob lefties and they're always incredibly loud, but most people I see are normal. Likely more centrist with a lean in whichever direction. If super leftists were the majority or even a quarter of the nation Trump would not be president. The leftists are just concentrated among areas like Hollywood and the Silicon Valley which is why it appears that there are so many of them.

I even believe most who voted for Hillary are closer to the center than they are to the far left.

Voat is at best a drop in a puddle. That is the reality.
