What branch of service? I know for sure with the Marine Corps we could get them without issue.

Ask friends or family who know people in the military for them. Plenty of cans for free that way.

I just texted my brother and he had no idea how to get them. Maybe he doesn't know the right people...

Military ammo use is strictly supervised, they return everything or have to explain where the foam and cardboard from the boxes went.

Like I said in my other comment, those China cans aren't the same dimensions and if you are stacking or have a shelving system for the mil spec cans (like I do) they are worthless.

Got 4 from Walmart for about $7 each and they stack just fine

Not sure if you actually have to sign up for their newsletter to get the code to work, but you should see it on a splash screen when you go to the site. If you order more, it gets cheaper too. I'll report back when I get my order on experience and quality.
And before you post the links, those China made ones suck and aren't made to mil spec dimensions. That might be ok for you, but I'm already invested in this size.

Good to know! I already ordered the grade 1, but next time I'll try the grade 2!

Anyone know how much (if any) desiccant you’re supposed to include if you fill these?
[–] asdf64851099 [S] ago
As long as you seal them up when it isn't humid, you should be fine. But I print these and fill them with those. Probably overkill, but it is fun to print useful things.

The smallest units I have are good for 3 cubic feet.
