I would welcome them to come collect my "fines" and guns in person.

How did this happen you might ask? Well lets look at the Demographics of Deerfield Il. First of all it is 25 miles west of Chicago. (That's a clue). The population of the village is 18,385~ (tilde means there about's). The population breakdown is 51.7% FEMALE, and 48.3% male. There are 624 more women living in Deerfield than men. The medium age 44.6 years old. (outside child bearing age of women so its safe to assume that there aren't that many young or senior citizens living there or the medium age would be lower. In a normal society the medium age is skewed to the lower as there are many more children. With few children the age is skewed upwards as most of the population is made up of older adults and seniors. Also it must be remembered that the life span of most men and women in the United States is about 75. So you can see that the number of older people is heavily represented in Deerfield.

The medium income is $149,605 a year. This is about $80,000 a year more than the medium income of the rest of Illinois. So the village is made up of upper middle class (which reinforces the theory of a small population of children under the age of 20). More likely there are few people under the age of 30 living in the village. Given the data that is available I would predict that the people living in Deerfield are middle level management of corporations or governments. Also with the income levels and the medium age you can be assured that most of the residents of Deerfield are not avid outdoors men or outdoors women as the case may be.

Last but not least the crime statistics are very low. Last year there were only 5 violent crimes ( 0 murders, 1 rape, 1 armed Robbery and 3 assaults) in Deerfield. There were 124 property crimes. So with a older non outdoors inclined upper income village with a very low crime rate it is no wonder that they banned semi auto weapons, (which I suspect there are very few in Deerfield)

Why should anyone listen to the state that has four former governors in prison and created two of the shittiest crime-havens in America, Shitcago and East St. Louis?

I really hope all of the gun owners tell them to fuck off. I also hope someone put up some billboard ads and yard signs around the outskirts of town letting everyone know that the neighborhood is being disarmed. I'm sure all of those people would love to have the shitty areas near them find out that they're getting rid of their home protection.

This should be fought at a Supreme Court level.

Or does this town have enough Authority to override the Constitution? I thought that no state/city laws can orverride the US Constitution. Am I wrong? (Costa Rica dude here)
