Someone create a /v/spam with a bot that checks the user history and nukes it if it appears to be a bot

Maybe he is just a superfan of Prager "university" which is a non-acredited soapbox for a conservative talk show host to promote his views in a pseudo-academic way. 18 videos from this one source posted to a non-topical subverse in two days seems like an agenda to me...

I agree that some sort of filtering is in order but filter by what criteria?

User level filtering so that I can choose who to turn off in my own feed based on my own criteria. Not site filtering. That would suck.

I am against censorship. Of course you should be able to ignore them, but if you want to be able to speak freely, you should also tolerate other when they speak regardless of what they speak. Thats the thing about freedom of speech. Its worthless, if not everything it protected by it.

So you want to create a mechanism for censorship? They already have a site for that: Reddit.

That said, there is the block button.

I think the "report spam" button + the "blocK" button can be used to alert other users that certain sites being linked to and certain users are clogging the inter-tubes with flotsam.
