Liberal fucktards do not like to be confused with facts, don't even try.

I imagine the most effective way is to pretend to agree with them, then gradually intersperse or walk the discussion over to some truth. Use their sources, like HuffPo or Vox, when the occasional truth nugget sneaks through, instead of Fox News or Breitbart or Infowars, which will be dead giveaways. Don't fall for their demand to reply with an Ivy League grad school-quality essay when they're just going to call you a racist or tell you to move to Somalia anyway.

This post was a little vague, so I'll offer how I get my points across to people both online and offline.

Understand them and let them speak. You don't have to agree with someone to understand them, you just have to analyze how they reached the conclusions they did. If you truly can't understand them, fake it. Next is to find something you both agree on. As Trump is in office right now, he's a perfect example (from a liberal perspective) of why the government should have limited power. Focus more on finding common ground before asserting any facts or opinions. This establishes trust and makes them more open to hear a point they don't automatically agree with.

Finally. Remain calm and try not to take it all so damn seriously, it's just a conversation. Try to even make a few jokes (but not at their expense).

And now you know all my secrets.
