That's a great idea. Where would vendors go for peer reviews and vendor vouching/rating ?
[–] AlpraCream 2 points 10 points 12 points (+12|-2) ago
Im still getting used to this place, what is a great idea?
[–] mrfathertime 2 points 9 points 11 points (+11|-2) ago
upvoting everyone so we can PM each other. I think you have a great idea, we need solid comms to keep morale high while we all make this transition in these dark times.
[–] doobieking 2 points 32 points 34 points (+34|-2) ago
I'm hoping for a successful transition over

Excuse me for piggybacking off the top comment, but I've got a lot of questions, and no answers. I'm a casual user of /r/drugs, and some research chemical subreddits. I found out about the ban wave just a little while ago, and I'm seeing a lot of speculation and rumors. I figure you guys are the best people to ask these questions. I'd love any insight I can get, especially from you, the regulars of the banned subs.
I'm hearing that voat's official policies about this stuff is the same as on reddit. If this turns out to be the case, how will these communities survive? The migration to voat will naturally end with the community losing many people, even though voat is a well known reddit alternative. If we have to leave voat, how will we preserve the community?
Dark net markets have made drugs extremely accessible to those who know how to use them. In the past, communities such as /r/DarkNetMarkets and /r/DarkNetMarketsNoobs made dark net markets accessible, and easy to learn about for anyone. With these resources under attack, is this golden age of drug sourcing ending?
Is there any list of the communities migrating here from reddit? Have the research chemical subreddits migrated yet?
This is probably already clear, but if one consolidated post was made that dispelled the rumors and listed the communities that have migrated from reddit, it would really help in the aftermath of this ban wave. Also, upvoating everyone in this thread is really important. The faster these communities can get back up and running, the sooner they can resume informing people about these topics, and reducing harm.

This website is filled with Nazis and thats not what drug and drug culture is about. The Darknetmarket sub on Dread is over 50 times bigger than this community and its on tor so its more anonymous. Lets all move there instead, they arent going to take the subs down like Voat might

Yes dude. "This website is filled with Nazis and that's not what drug and drug culture is about. The Darknetmarket sub on Dread is over 50 times bigger than this community and its on tor so its more anonymous. Lets all move there instead, they arent going to take the subs down like Voat might" Edit: The Darknetmarket sub on Dread WAS over 50 times bigger than this community"
Time 4 bitching is over tho apparently. But I hope Olympus looses a fuck load of business still.

1] too much hassle to run a full dnm-discussion forum on the clearnet, especially if you do not control the site. so https://voat.co/v/DNM/2458094/12250525
2]
With these resources under attack, is this golden age of drug sourcing ending?
not at all. places and sites will change but the dnm scene will grow, whether one likes it or not. even law enforcement studies predict that. we will have to work on making it better though to not let it become a complete shitshow where no user knows what he is doing and there is an overall toxic atmosphere.

I can't PM yet so I'll post it here -
I used to post ablot on Reddit on several subs and gave advice to alot of people - it even runs in the family my sister helped create the rules we still have on the sidebar.
For transparency I can't dedicate 24/7 but I am a firm believer in harm reduction and the freedom to do what you wish with your own body aslong as it doesn't harm others - my career is actually to catch fraudsters, I'm a full stack developer by trade and manage huge networks while creating applications and services if any of those skills will benefit us.
If there's anything I can do to help I am more than willing to stand accountable, otherwise I'll continue help I individuals as and when I can.
No matter the result we are the modern day hero's fighting for the right to live as we choose, my passion is just ensuring the decisions people make don't but them in harms way.

This time, I want to contribute to the community with whatever way I can @wombat2combat. Please feel free to ask if you need any support. EDIT: Looping @AlpraCream

1.I think Voat has similar rules like reddit but they are not enforcing them as strict. There was also some onion site given around that seems to be created by a community member that should be a safe place to discuss.
2.The golden age when we were under the radar is over for sure. But I am faithful that similar communities will not cease to exist as there is still a demand for the information regarding markets. It just might be less accessible for newbies.
3.I don't think there is such a list yet.
[–] Salmonporn 1 point 8 points 9 points (+9|-1) ago
Yeah, this situation is seeming pretty grim. Hopefully these communities will survive, but it'll be harder and harder now.

New info: around a month ago, a ban wave that took down /r/fakeid, sent alarm bells ringing for a user named HugBunter. He foresaw that the banhammer was soon to follow, and developed his own darknet reddit! "Dread" is found at http://dreadecomdopooda.onion and the sub is darknetmarkets, so that's http://dreadecomdopooda.onion/d/DarkNetMarkets. It's alive and kicking and the sub numbers are growing.
I found out about it in this reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/onions/comments/86an7o/darknetmarkets_is_back_but_now_on_dread/
The site is very professionally made and I'm surprised that the darknetmarkets sub is so well established already. They have stickied threads there welcoming everyone and introducing people to the site. Hopefully you will find this useful.
