Seems unnecessary? If you aren’t attracted to your wife anymore, why not just divorce her?

He already has his answer. Her reaction to this request tells you all you need to know. If she had plans to remain fit, she would not be offended because it's a non-issue. I agree, don't get married, because this is a huge red flag.

Those comments are fucking awful.
Doe she get to insert an impotence clause (e.g. she gets to cash in if you can't get it up)?
Do they not understand that the BMI clause applies to both of them?
And yes, wanting to put BMI limitations in a contractual agreement with a spouse could certainly be considered a lack of trust in your partner's ability and willingness to want to meet you in this.
I don't get why people talk up "trust" so much in the context of marriage. Even if the 50% stuff is a myth, a significant percentage of marriages end in divorce - and of those, I would imagine quite a few "trusted" each other at the beginning of the marriage.
Surely if the person can be trusted to do something, then making it a contractual obligation won't change anything.
Let her find someone who loves her for who she is, not what she looks like or what she does for you.
Are we really expected to believe that these dildos only care about who people are and not what they look like in a relationship?
