By censoring speech, they're making themselves liable for all content posted on their sites. Essentially the major sites transitioned from social media to old media editorials. All that's promoted are pre-approved sentiments to give the impression of a false consensus, but if even one falls out of line then the whole thing goes with it. They can't hide behind the line "We can't control what users post." because they can and they do.

Bitchute, Gab, and Minds may be the platforms of the future, but more likely it's just another example of the digital divide between ideas. The walled garden of communism cannot tolerate dissent or reality.

QFT libtards only support free speech while they build up their user base with VC money so they can arrange to sell their companies to legacy media.

It used to be about the truth, efficiency, the free flow of information. Read the great book "Hackers" for a look at that.

The problem is, it became a media platform so in came the same folks who want to control all media.

Not really. What other industry survives by giving away its only product? They want to be valves, not pipes.

FB, etc are not by profit. It's a government run operation.

No most of its money comes from the data they harvest from you. As long as you use it, they will be around.

The truth is not important. You doing what I tell you is important.

He who controls the communication controls the price of communication.
