It was done by people trying to end a war, by order of the President. They had to do it twice. A lot of pain and suffering on our side was avoided because of it.
Furthermore, dropping bombs on civilians happened on both sides during the war. Convential bombs, incendiary bombs caused incredible havoc. Why don't you speak out against those too? Do those not give you enough guilt for your virtue signalling?
Everyone should hate all war. Those who start wars should be put at the very front of the front instead of at the very back.

Yep, I was referring to that actually. It has been years since I learned about this stuff, but I believe it was more than just Tokyo. Well, definitely since Dresden is another famous case.
To be clear, my point was: war is Hell. Doesn't matter the side, doesn't matter the weapons. I guess I think the A-bomb gets a bad rap in a way. People love to feel bad about it, and they should, but there's plenty more fertile ground for virtue signaling. Pfft fucking cucks.

How highly do you think of military leaders prior to the 20th century? Because I can guarentee you there are more fondly remembered people who did much worse.
