I bet that Todd was not hurt in the least. His stock went up tremendously with his viewers. Trump’s actions confirmed everything Todd has been saying about him. All of his friends have been slapping him on the back and congratulating him of hurting Trump’s feefees. Most presidents have a poker face when it comes to showing their reactions to criticism. Trump is constantly showing exactly what gets under his skin. You are 180 degrees off.

Actually Trump's popularity comes from his willingness to speak his mind. As a leader he is focused on objectives over image. Politicians on the other hand value image over objectives. Todd's comments were nothing more than another pathetic attempt to try and silence Trump.

Chuck Todd says Trump insults challenge parenting | New York Post

'Tom Brokaw, a former anchor of “NBC Nightly News,” took to Twitter to defend his Peacock network colleague.“Pres Trump at a Penn rally calls my colleague and friend Chuck Todd a ‘sleeping SON OF A BITCH.’ Really classy. '

'I know folks may be tired in the morning due to springing forward, so set those clocks and DVRs now before your eyes get too sleepy,” he said. '

'He then mocked the NBC show’s current host.“Meet the Press, a show now headed by sleepy-eyes Chuck Todd,” Trump said. “He is a sleeping son of a bitch, I’ll tell you.”At first, Todd joked about the reference on Twitter, using it to remind viewers to turn their clocks ahead so they can tune in Sunday.“Don’t miss @MeetThePress tomorrow!'

' Explain that to your children,” Brokaw wrote Saturday evening. '

'Later on Sunday morning, Todd took a more serious approach.“I bring my kids up to respect the office of the presidency and the president,” Todd told NBC News 4 in Washington, D.C. “I don’t allow them to say anything negative, ever, about the president.”“It creates a challenge to all parents when he uses vulgarities like that,” he continued.
