This is what Marx did while he was alive.

Google is with more today than GM or Ford were worth 40 years ago, yet they employ less people than those companies did at the time. More total wealth is being created than ever before, but the workers creating that wealth aren't seeing these increases. Asking for fair compensation isn't demanding things from the winners, but acknowledging that everyone is working far harder than we need to.
This kind of wealth inequality is dangerous because it allows those with all of the money to subvert democracy and subvert capitalism.

The rich convince half the poor that the other half is the reason why they're poor. Hell, some people want to get rid of the inheritance tax^1 because somehow they believe their kids will benefit. Not many are rich enough to have to pay this tax, but the rich convince the poor to vote for it with the lie that it's somehow unfair to everyone.

The solution for YOUR problems is within YOU and NOWHERE else.
You must be old enough to remember when personal responsibility was a thing.

Another popular analogy is a "bucket of crabs" You put a bunch of crabs in a bucket and none are ever able to crawl out because the ones at the bottom always pull down the ones at the top. The net result is that they all die.
