I'd love that; I have been watching few how-to videos online, enough to know that's something I'd like to do, but not enough to learn the skills / know-how ; if a local range / gun shop had this kind of class, they'd get my money, no question (even though I'd know one could put a build together more cheaply on one's own)

My state is pozzed and I had to neuter my AR.
So after parkland I went out and bought a 45-70 lever action just for the hell of it.
It my not be semi auto, but it'll take down about damn near anything with legs inside 200 yards.

I'm not a reloader, yet.
Just checked out Barnes bullets, those things look insane.

I signed up for 5 years for the first time ever. Chose the nice carry bag.
I have always avoided being on a gun owners 'list' of any type. I fear the NRA membership roster is one of those lists. But now I am old and just don't care if they come to get my guns they will get them, working end first.

Just make sure the ar is not one you have to register, you can always get an 80% complete lower.

Ghost Gunner 2. All the ARs and 1911s you want without the 80% hassle.

That's a high barrier of entry though. If you are a common Joe wanting just one AR platform rifle at least.
