Originally I bought into this and I still do to an extent but think about it. If average Joe's who frequent voat but otherwise live a normal life started getting home visits from Antifa that would quickly get out and the dots would be joined. I remember 15 years ago people who posted on a druggie site suddenly got visits from the police in a particular state. It became very obvious very quickly that the cops were targeting people based on their posts on the message board. If that started happening it would drive us underground and using Tor vpns etc. (((They))) gain nothing from that. They lose all the juicy gossip.

I'm starting to think this is yet another psyop to create paranoia in those that are red pilled

That's not how it works. Imagine if you were developing this big product that could change the world and make billions. But you're on the high priority list. Investors never come and marketing efforts are sabotaged. If the product does look like it might succeed, a sorry is manufactured to create bad press and along comes a lawsuit.

The leftist organizations we need to worry about are the ones we all knew FBI, CIA, NSA. Remember over 90% of federal employees voted for Hillary!

This 4chan post seems to me a clear psyop to create a "chilling effect" on those of use who share these beliefs on the internet. Probably still true though tbh

Can google (and other sites) track you if you only use them once? For example, I buy a new computer and the only internet browser is Chrome. I double click on it and then in the search at the top of the homepage I type "download firefox" or whatever and it uses a google search. I never use chrome or type www.google ever again.

You IP address gives you away. Get a VPN.

VPN helps but it doesnt fix everything, like shitty progs (chrome) from tattling on you and sending data back to the mothership right through your VPN.

VPN protects you from attacks that havent gotten inside your perimeter yet

If a site has to load external resources from Google's CDN, then you're being tracked. Happens all the time. Install a script blocker. Sucks, but a lot of websites, that I'd like to try out, are off limits because of this.

4chan requires a google script to run captcha. Everyone there is being tracked in some way if they engage in speech.
