I always hear people talking about how vegans and vegetarians are so slim and healthy, or that's the way to be healthy. In my life I have only met one vegetarian who was thin (an ex-boyfriend of mine, who was veg when we got together, was twenty-one years old and skated every day). Every single v eg I've ever known is fat and has all kind of health problems (never known a veg [aside from the aforementioned] who didn't have "fibromyalgia," at least).
I was a veg for six years. When I started eating meat again, I lost fifteen pounds in a month and a half without trying, felt better, looked better, slept better, had more energy.
