My jimmies are still rustled that Cats lost despite beating the doggies.

Mine are too :(

But ... I mean, if popularity is such a large factor, how long before everyone just piles onto one team? And then we all just play our own team the whole time cause the less popular team has so few.

We can't know, but I guess we'll see how things play out. I just think that makes it a bit more boring if it's so hard for the underdog to win.

Meh, didn't bother. Splatoon is fun and all, but it just didn't click with me after I beat the campaign and reached level 10. I gave it a fair shot, but I opted out this time.

It was fantastic, I dominated every match! Can't wait for the next.

I didn't. I was so hyped to play it and they cancled it due to the servers and such. Next thing I hear about it is litterally an hour two before it started and I was on vacation.

I liked the whole team thing, the night version of the maps and the different music but I don't understand why they didn't rotate the maps or the game mode, at some point I got burned out because I chained the same map for 7 games and people were using the same weapons every time. So, overall I liked it but it could be better.

That's interesting - were the people you were playing against the same each time? I kind of agree about the maps, although it certainly helped me figure out the best strategies for them!

No, they kept changing, at one time I even played against another rock team. They always had 2 aerosprays and a Kraken roller.
