In case anyone forgot what an asshole dick chenny is. KBR (Halliburton) is the company he ran before becoming vice president to GWB. He left the company and claimed it would get no preferential treatment, but coincidentally recieved no-bid contracts during the destruction and occupation of Iraq. They are now accused of damaging the health of their contractors and service members by burning shit and making them breathe the fumes. Then they'd deny the medical claims

Funny we have courts determining this instead of medical experts.

What you wrote has to be the stupidest thing I've read in a very long time. Years, possibly. Worse than the flat-earthers.

Yes, lets let lawyers decide what causes a disease. That's going to work out well.

I think what Plavonica is saying is that it's pretty pathetic that you have to take things to court to get anything done. It's almost like it'd be better if people would take the information that a ton of people who worked at the burn pits are having lung issues, acknowledge that it was a stupid idea, and make things right.

Respirators that could have been worn during burns are sickeningly cheap, and finding out about it won't make the affected feel any better, but may help people in the future. As may safer disposal policies.
