He shouldn't resign and arguably the first guy possibly should even keep his job.

This is the highest reaches of governt. You want the best guy for the job. Even a bad past or a bad present is a second consideration compared to the cost to the team. Now when people do bad things within their job... like mishandling classified information and pay to play and disregarding citizen's rights. Those people should loose their job. Definately not be hired back. Definately not get a promotion like Hillary was arguing for.

The point is it doesn't have to be firable and if whether he is fired or not is a question then it is really obsured that Kelly would have to go.

This is what this cultural marxism is all about. It's a weapon that can be deployed selectively. Why haven't we fired everyone that knew Weinstein? An experimental level for how many people should be taken down by a bad circumstance should be first applied to the people who promote that standard.
