I did it and it was quite the experience. What had happened was I fell asleep during the day with the radio on. I had been exhausted because I have a late night job and at the time I had this early morning job so I had been running on fumes. When I fell asleep I came to this realization of "where am I" then I am looking around in my dream and I ask myself "why am I at my campus? I thought I was at home?" and I could hear the radio on in the background which I thought was odd. The dream played out and I ended up running up this flight of stairs to catch up with someone who I had lost contact with a while ago. I ran up to her and was excited to see her and greeted her, after our brief conversation she left and I walked back downstairs. A few moments later I realize what is going on and it registers that I am dreaming and I started to control my dream in a way. I was able to walk in directions I desired and look around. I didn't talk to anyone, there were people around me in my dream but I didn't know them so I didn't want to bother them (reading this now it sounds silly). Then shortly after I was woken up slightly confused, it was quite the experience. It felt refreshing for some reason a bit after I had woken up and was able to process what had happened.

I had a dream once where I figured out that I was dreaming and got so excited that I woke up. That was a bit annoying. Other than that, I can't say I've had one.

I have, but it's hard to place any of them as "about" something.
