there's a difference in values here that's easy to understand if you think about the kind of things the average black spends his money on if he has any; his car, "bling," etc.

Jay-Z: Black Unemployment Drop Under Trump Doesn't Matter, "Because It's Not About Money" | Video | RealClearPolitics
'Hip-hop icon Jay-Z said the drop of black unemployment under President Trump does not make him a good leader because "money doesn't equate to happiness" in an interview with CNN's Van Jones that aired Saturday night. '
'"Money is not -- money doesn't equate to happiness. '
'"To give him a little bit of credit too, he is somebody who is now saying, look, Iâ\x80\x99m growing â\x80\x93 Iâ\x80\x99m dropping black unemployment," Jones said of Trump. '
'"Does he have a point that maybe the Democrats have been giving us good lip service, but no jobs. '
'"No because itâ\x80\x99s not about money at the end of the day," Jay-Z answered. '

I don't even understand Jay-Z's comment. When has Trump never treated people like human beings? Is he talking about the "mean tweets"?
Trump never goes out of his way to just randomly insult somebody: he's just a counterpuncher that swings back in response to insults. There's nothing wrong with Trump defending himself: and Jay-Z of all people should understand that as he comes from the streets and you'd definitely go out of your way to defend your honor against some insults there. The only other class of people Trump has randomly insulted are law-breakers and terrorists.
It's easy for Jay-Z to act like he doesn't care about money when his own personal net worth alone (not even mentioning his wife) is around a billion dollars! Say the same thing to somebody struggling what an extra hundred bucks means for you in your paycheck.
Personally, I think Jay-Z might be involved in some dark shit (🍕?), and Trump represents a threat to that.

"Because It's Not About Money"
He's not lying.
The BLM and Communists and Anarchists that have taken over the Democrat Party are not looking to improve people's lives or make something better for some group. That is not the goal of these Zealots.
No. Zealots want to punish and to revel in the punishing. They want the thrill of power over others and so see suffering brought down upon their targets by their own hands.
But in the absence of that power that would allow them to inflict real world suffering on their targets, they will happily settle for the state of being that we see them in today:
HATE.
So, Jay-Z said it well. It is not actual accomplishments that are the goal for the Left. It is the state of Hate that they seek and the fruition of it in Mob violence, rioting and the collective dreams of mass murder and suffering upon their "enemies". (What did Conan say on this?)
These enemies, these non-persons/sub-humans who dare to love the USA and to support America First and Donald Trump making America Great Again all need to be targeted and hated upon. That is what Jay-Z is acknowledging.
This is why the mass slaughter of Black on Black violence is of no interest to the Social Justice community. It is not about black lives. Black lives are just a convenient prop.
Hate of Whites and the USA are all that the Left offers its followers today. And that is all the Democratic party will represent so long as they allow neoMarxists to run their platform choices and the rhetoric we hear from their elected leaders.
Jay-Z's net worth is estimated at $810 million. His wife, Beyoncé, is expected to be worth $350 million.
But the Hate? It's priceless!

Well, I can say it's not about intellect with this one.
