For me, the line is simple: brain activity. What separates us from other animals is our brains. Once a neuron fires, there very well may be "someone" in there.
Until then... It's just a bundle of cells. I know Christians may disagree with me, but there is no scientific basis - right now - for a soul.
As for other cases... I know rape is horrific, and forcing a woman to carry a child conceived in such a way is a punishment and reminder in ways that I will never personally experience, but wouldn't wish on anyone. That said... I don't know. How would you feel about your life, if you knew you were the product of rape? At the very least our foster child system would need to be cleaned up and CPS gutted and rebuilt from the ground up, to help such potential children. But again, I'm not sure how to handle their existence in the first place... complex issues, to be sure.

Man... If I knew I was the product of rape that would be a huge mind fuck. I'm not FYI. But if I was I imagine I would have some serious respect issues with my Mom. Basically "Thank you for giving me life, but holy hell woman, have you no self respect or forethought for your children?". Imagine you were the product of a violent abysmal act. That's going to fuck you up real good.

again tl;dr
For those that are struggling with the issues around rape and incest can we at least save the other 99% of aborted children. This issue is so disproportionately represented in the debate it makes me crazy. I would still fight for the remaining 1% because murder is murder, but if your only hold up is children born as a result of rape lets at least ban it in other cases.
