Better? Maybe not. But greater complexity means much greater value and requires more time, effort, and intelligence to create. No one has to appreciate the more complex music out there, but I think it still demands some level of respect.

Hmmmm, music is an interesting example of this since one could write a complex piece without knowing much about music, but just semi-randomly placing notes on the sheet. That wouldn't demand any level of respect. Now performing such a piece flawlessly(even if it sounded awful) would indeed demand respect, as it would be a feat of skill and determination.

I agree, but I also have to argue that Fur Elise is better than Nuthin' But a G Thang.
I mean, compare that iconic piano line to "One, two, three and to the four, Snoop Doggy Dogg and Dr. Dre is at the door."

I hate when people think the speed or conplexity of music defines its quality.
No, this lightning-metal-shredding is not better than the Beatles just because only 5 guitarists can play that fast.

Definitely, I could, as someone who isn't familiar with music notation at all, look at the left pieces at a guide and write new music that would look complicated but be total shit if actually played.

It’s obvious subsaharrans have few talents, amongst them is copying, cheating and pretending, also appropriating, remember when they were naming their children after the exact names of past American presidents, take the name martin luther king for example and that’s ironic.

They bothered to write those down? Are they worried they'll forget one of those three notes?

Ackshually...
At this point in Hip Hop history, Dr. Dre became popular because he was one of the first to create melodies in his music as opposed to just sampling disco hooks. I remember an interview where he stated that he doesn't listen to rap music, because he finds it dampens his artistic ability, and instead would listen to country and classical.
This is no bullshit. He sells to a specific market, and he knows it.

This is why China is banning rap music.
