Outside of the music room, they're on guitar stands. The music room is the only room with them on hooks. Part of one wall is electrics and part of one wall is acoustics. Below them are shelves and those have guitar cases on them. Under those shelves are tote boxes. Those have gear and consumables in them. The back is amps, heads, drum cases, a few sets of stacks, mic stands, and things like that.

I still don't have enough room. I have stuff in storage and stuff over my garage. Both are heated, so I'm not too worried.

Such is the life of a musician, I suppose.

I'm like you: Everything in its place. I wish I could hang guitars on walls or leave them on stands, but the humidity is just too high here. Everything is in a case with silica boxes, and I'm constantly throwing plastic silica boxes back in the oven to dry them out. Even with that, I just had to have my Larrivee re-fretted because I wasn't diligent enough in keeping it dry.

Hmm... Wow... I hadn't even thought of what I'd have to do if I lived in an environment like yours.

It helps to have had the room built specifically for purpose. The room as designed into the plans and is specifically a music room. It serves no other function. This helps a great deal, as I've truly accumulated so much stuff in my life.

You don't have enough room? Don't you have a wood shop or machine shop too? You have more room than most of us. I have about 3500 square feet at my house. I have room for more

I have accumulated a lot of stuff. Those other areas also have stuff in them. Like, seriously, too much stuff... I kind of relish the idea of my kids having to go through it all when I'm dead. Ha! Instead of me having to clean up their rooms, they'll have to clean up mine!
