Obviously. Incumbency in 2000 vs. an open seat in 2018 for one. The Hispanic population in Arizona has more than tripled since 1990 though and K-12 students are nearing 50% of the total. Arizona has gone from red to purple due to demographics and will go blue because of it. It's another budding California.

Half of Arizona needs a Democrat to stay in the country. Legal Hispanics aren't nearly so Democrat

This is 100% true. Legal Hispanics loathe illegals for taking jobs. I know a few legal immigrants from Mexico and they're very outspoken about it. Are they Democrats? Hard too tell if there's no voter ids.

Are you suggesting that large numbers of illegal aliens vote in Arizona elections? Hispanics went 2-1 Hillary there in 2016.
