Ahh my first comment on this app. It's easily the Hawks. I live in southern Wisconsin (I'm a sharks fan) and I also work in sports retail. All throughout the playoffs we've had Hawks apparel, however no one was buying any except the one or two people a week. When they finally won the cup everyone and their mother wanted the gear. Talking about how awesome the Hawks are and blah blah blah. Where the hell were these people a month ago? Or when the playoffs started? I swear these people thought the Hawks was gods gift to hockey.

I guess it's not the Hawks I dislike as much as certain fans.

I just needed to vent that out :/

Exactly my thoughts! I also feel like the Hawks have by far the most people who wear their apparel without knowing anything about hockey. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing if they've built a good brand – I mean, I'm happy if hockey is present in the mainstream, it's just that most of those wanna-be fans often tend to take themselves too seriously. But that's just my personal impression from where I live (Switzerland), and there aren't as many NHL fans here anyway.

I hate Wisconsin Hawks fans. In my mind you can't hate a team from Chicago in 1 sport (the Bears) but love a team from Chicago in another. Get your own team or be a Wild fan.

Wouldn't they still be in the same position (Vikings)?

Agreed, it's not the team, it's the fans. I struggled with this issue this past year. I kept thinking, I like this team, so why is it every time I go on Facebook I find myself hating the Hawks. It's the overly in your face fans.
