Are you autistic? Do you not understand human speech? Did you really think I meant they literally froze in time? The fuck is wrong with you.
The image is from "Human Accomplishment: The Pursuit of Excellence in the Arts and Sciences". It would have took you less than minute to find it, were you not so handicapped.

You come in, you say things that are untrue, I give you ample time to rephrase it and make it clear and you double down on it over and over, then you claim it was hyperbole, and I'm supposed to react differently?
When you come and present something as factual, and then argue it, we can pretty much assume you meant it as you said it. I can understand the urge to say it was hyperbole, but it'd be much easier for everyone involved (including the spectators) to just say, "Oops. Yeah, I should just bow out gracefully." Maybe, just maybe, you could say, "Hey, wait, that wasn't quite right. I'd like to admit the error of my statement and add a correction."
It's not hard. This isn't something that's overly difficult to do. You came in blustering while making untrue statements. I don't see why you want to blame me for that. I didn't make you do it. Hell, I tried REALLY hard to give you lots of time and ways to say, "Oops." Voat has people dumb enough to believe the planet is flat, of course I take it that you mean what you type. If you didn't mean it, you'd have said something different. That's a pretty good assumption to make.
However, in the future I'll keep that in mind. You don't actually mean what you say. Duly noted.

No, it was pretty clear what I meant. I think everyone who's not an autistic retard knew what I meant.
No, that was actually you. Let's examine your post that started it all:
What is recent history? Is that yesterday? Or do you mean "about 1000 years ago"?. In which case, your statement isn't really true. Hmmmm.
What is goodly supposed to mean? Is it a hyperbole, perchance? How do you quantify goodly. And does it really come from Arabia, or was it just collected there?
Bullshit.
"The word algebra comes from the Arabic الجبر (al-jabr "restoration") from the title of the book Ilm al-jabr wa'l-muḳābala by al-Khwarizmi."
"Muḥammad ibn Mūsā al-Khwārizmī[note 1] (Arabic: محمد بن موسى الخوارزمی; c. 780 – c. 850), formerly Latinized as Algoritmi,[note 2] was a Persian[3] mathematician,"
Boy I could go on and on with this.
