I haven't been to a LAN in years, usually computer nerds have good hygiene.

It's the MtG crowd you have to bring a noseplug for.

If it's a small lan amongst friends, expect good times unless you're not prepared networking wise then expect about an hour of troubleshooting and THEN good times.

can confirm. Had a lan party and spent a hour wondering why everyone was at 400ping. QoS was on, non-assigned MAC's get 15% of max network speed.

I guess it is a public lan? If yes i have no idea, only had lan's with friend and that was just blazing it up for 3 days and playing games.
