And here I thought I was disgusting when I was 10 lbs overweight at 15.

The post just under that one states that stable-weight adults need to eat between 2500 and 3500 calories, otherwise it's starvation. Um, what? I'm barely 5'4, if I ate that much I'd be 300lbs...

DAE get tired of these shitposts with random text on an empty document?

Of all the shit that's easy to fake, this has to take the retard cake. I guess it's just more fun for most people to believe the story in the title of the post is true and accurate.

My brain hurts now... That's two of me equalling the weight of one 16yo girl... And she knows it's fucked up... Is this the new equivalent of cutting yourself? Why would she do this? Parents can't force you to eat...

You would be surprised. They can't shove food down your throat, but they will try if they are sufficiently fat themselves. My parents tried for years until they realized what they were doing. Fortunately, like Adolf Hitler, their continued insistence only resulted in continued resistance. I managed to hold out. Unless you have sufficient strength of will to do this for years, you may well be doomed.

That's cool and all, but there had better be actual weight loss and not just talk over the next couple of years. Fatties who talk big about losing it are a dime a dozen. You don't get points for being aware that HAES is stupid. That is what we used to call common sense.

I was thinking that too. You’ve acknowledged the problem but what the fuck are you gonna do about it.

Sometimes I wonder if it's a shitlord pretending to be fat so they can yell at the obeasts without their posts immediately setting off a shitstorm from the mods or the Crisco vacuums. It seems like a good plan. Make them feel even worse about themselves because then they can't try to delude themselves with their mental gymnastics into thinking it's fatphobia and the opinion is without merit.

They still will use mental gymnastics though, they'll just say it's internalized fatphobia. There's a point where they can't be reasoned with.

There are two children I personally know of that are neglected and suffer some degree of child abuse. They both come from seriously broken homes where at least one parent is a heroin addict. Both are girls, one 4 and one 7. The four year has been raised on junk food and wants to eat every second. The kid will even eat the disgusting jelly beans from the beanboozled game and likes them. The seven year old was having a snack with my five year old and kept asking if she could have it since the kid wasn't eating it right away. She is very jealous of what others have and will either try to steal it or lie and say it was given to her by the 5 year old. The four year old is not yet obese, but the seven year old is the size of a beach ball. Her family says "oh well, everyone in our family is overweight, isn't she cute?". I'm not sure basic nutrition intervention would help with some situations.

I babysat for a friends kid who took Ritilin. The pantry was stuffed with candy & processed crap which leads to ADD

Agreed. Normally I'd be against wasting taxpayer money on someone's eating addiction, but that intervention would probably save a lot in the long run.

It's old enough now to know better but at 16 it's still young enough that I blame the parents. It's child abuse to allow this to happen.
