Riiiiight... Cause you need a degree in electronics to be a Janitor at Nintendo...
[–] GutterTrash 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
It is ironic because Konami will demote major people into janitors to demoralize them.

Why do people on the internet lie.
[–] Hmmm 0 points 19 points 19 points (+19|-0) ago
Because people hardly ever verify. Thanks for verifying.

I know upward mobility exists, but you don't move a janitor to designer.

Janitors with microelectronics as a hobby are pretty common. Just start some small talk next time you see one.

I’m not sure if the cleaning lady here knows what microelectronics are.
Either way, this guy was never a janitor or a ‘maintenance’ man. He’s a college graduate who got hired by Nintendo, and worked his way up.
Its not uncommon for an early game developing company, to take ideas from employees. I know Sierra used people from accounting for voice work in some of their games. Obviously this guy went even farther, but lieing about his origins with the company doesn’t do anything for his story.
