In liberalism, victimhood is the pinnacle of achievement.

It is like a parent punishing their masochist child, will hitting them count as a punishment? Shunning and shamed by their peers, I think that is actually what they want. Hell, I bet words of encouragement that invalidate their victim points will break them.

Cyberbullying: More teens anonymously bullying themselves online

"About 8% of children ages 7-16 surveyed in a 2012 study said they'd engaged physical self-harm, or non-suicidal self injury."

'Cavazos, who studies depression-related content on social media, said more than likely teens are looking for a response. '

'Teens who identified as non-heterosexual were three times more likely to bully themselves online, while victims of cyberbullying were 12 times more likely to cyberbully themselves. '

'The rates of physical self-harm are similar, as well. '

'But an alarming number of teenagers are anonymously posting mean things online — about themselves. '

That is fucking hilarious.

Kids have that short an attention span that they type out an abusive message to someone, recieve the identical abusive message back, then slit their wrists because someone hates them.

Or it takes effort to power it, like you have to run on a treadmill or ride a stationary bike to power it up.

then you are the type of person we can do without. If you can't figure it out, you are below the minimum standard.

TL;DR: Study found that ~6% of teens bully themselves online. They'll send anonymous hateful messages to themselves and then publicly respond. It's the equivalent of shooting yourself in the foot privately, so you can get public sympathy.

Also, the mentally disabled are 3x more likely to do this:

Researchers are calling this behavior "digital self-harm." Teens who identified as non-heterosexual were three times more likely to bully themselves online, while victims of cyberbullying were 12 times more likely to cyberbully themselves.

A wise decision.

Technology is helping to streamline the act of hoaxing hate crimes. Now you don't even need to buy a can of paint and ruin a perfectly good dorm wall with a backwards swastika.

Victimhood is the new currency in society.

Something to that effect was written the last time I saw an article on the subject.
