I got a Moto 360 watch for my B-day earlier this year and I love it.
Out of all the things it does though, the thing I use it most for is Telling Time
I mean, it's a watch.. that's what its main purpose is for. On top of that it lets me read emails/texts, answer calls, reminds me of appointments, tracks fitness stuff, and tells me the weather.. which is all really nice, but majority of time I look at my watch, it's to see what time it is.
It would be so much cooler if the watch was more like a Batman-esque arm touch screen that you could talk to people on, browse the internet, use a keyboard or whatever you want to do with it. They really dropped the ball on this one by reinventing the watch instead of bringing science fiction to life.
I have a few uses for mine, but hey thats just me. I guess if "everyone" else hates theirs, I should too.

My friend has one. He reads his text messages... then reaches into his pocket to grab his phone to type a reply. I fail to see the value that they add.

It's a pager - on your wrist.
