They'll settle for a fraction of what their profits are in a quarter. Manipulation and lying for a few shekels if they get caught is status quo for silicon valley

This will be an unpopular opinion. But Apple can’t win in this situation. If they didn’t slow down the phones and the battery started dying quickly then everybody would come out of the woodwork saying Apple designed their phones for planned obsolescence by making the batteries die after 18 months or whatever, remember the iPod stuff?. So in an effort to avoid that conspiracy nonsense they try to do something to save battery life on hold ass phones. And they got shit on for that too. Buy a new goddamn phone! Hardly anyone keeps the phone for more than two years anyway

Most people run a phone plan and pay a monthly fee for the service. I got my iPhone for free it was just an extra $10 a month with the contract renewal and I’ve been with the company for 10 years anyway. You’re not wrong. I’m just saying I know broke ass 22-year-olds who do cocaine and show up to work fucked up with iPhone eights.

I had a samsung S4 that when I updated to android 5.0 the sucker crawled. Do I get to sue Samsung? BTW I had that phone for 2 1/2 years. I have my current one for almost 3. I'm done buying $600+ stuff that I use a fraction of the features.

I had a similar problem, then I just flashed cyanogenmod and it was faster than factory.

The point is the intent. If you update to a new operating system, you might expect to see some slower performance, but if slower performance if programmed intentionally then lied about when questioned, that's where the problem lies.
