Congrats. If you are now a supervisor, pray you don't do scheduling. I have some, how you say, poor rural employees and I swear, getting them to show up is giving me an aneurysm.
Our building isn't really far from the city, but it's off the beaten path, as it were. No buses run and the closest Metro line is like 4 miles away. Its hard enough to get licensed people; and if I started firing for lateness or call-offs, half would go the first week. It sucks, but I like my job and have a great boss so it's a daily battle with no end in sight.

I will be doing schedules but we have a point system and they will easily point out of employment if they are late too many times :)
