Nah. I'm a leftist. Not all tax cuts are bad. These are bad because they are being done at a ridiculously stupid time. And they're downright evil because of all the idiots who support fucking over everyone for the benefit of the top 5%.

Mail the IRS your tax cut. Refuse the money.make it a reverse tea party, and petition for higher taxes!

I won't get a refund. In fact, I'll pay more than usual since they screwed with itemized deductions. And when they finally get around to making it legal for insurance companies to refuse coverage for pre-existing conditions (or make people pay exorbitant premiums), It will be a huge blow. This year I paid $26,500 for premiums and deductibles (insurance covered over $60,000). And no, my health issues aren't lifestyle related.

The problem as I see it is, conservatives would like lower taxes, but maintain or increase military spending. Liberals would like to maintain or increase spending for social programs.
No one really seems to care about the national debt, so we keep on borrowing more and more money to pay for tax cuts and government programs.

Like scientists in the departments where science is involved, and doctors in the health department, it seems almost logical. And term limits would be awesome as they could not worry about having to be reelected, so they could actually do what their constituency wants and not what the dollars paid want.

Meanwhile, progressives want higher taxes on the rich, just like they were in the 50s and 60s, and higher taxes on corporations, just like they were in the 50s and 60s, and REDUCE the tax rate on the lower/middle/working classes.
