No. The stinking, smelling, foul, wretched, rotting carcass of the FBI needs to be destroyed forever. It's the most oppressive, corrupt, violent, child sexual exploiting, maggot infested, vile, torturous, treasonous, child porn abusing, Satanic, bullshitting, lying, terrorist, backstabbing, horse shitting, faggotry, fuckery, cunty, piss drunk, monkey infant piece of shit there is.

The USA has something like 17 official major intelligence agencies (not sure of that number - or if it includes military agencies - or if there are agencies that we know not of.)

Anyways - breaking up both the FBI and the CIA is very doable - basically you just parcel out the various departments - scattering them among the other agencies - and perhaps restaffing a bunch of that - but it is doable... and that is what I thought was going to happen.

However, there is more than one way to skin a cat - and there is value in maintaining tradition. Trump seems to have identified at least one major group of swamp dwellers and is standing back while the administrative machine drains the swamp for him. This too is smart - because it gives him political distance between himself (highly charged) and the targets in question (filthy traitors.)

The saying watch what they do, not what they say - that works a little differently with Trump - since he seems to do exactly what he says.

As a late middle aged person, I am supposed to know how this world works by now - and I don't - but I find I am learning a lot of brand new stuff just watching Trump.

It would be a little more believable if just 1 corrupt official went to jail.

Rebuild it in its original image: an unarmed team of investigators who support the US Attorney General.

Way too many paramilitary government agencies.

TBH I think a lot of these corrupt politicians just want to survive. The Clintons have murdered so many people who disagree with them. I wouldn't doubt for a second Comey went easy on Hilary to protect the lives of his family.

I want to know who groomed them. You don't go from being a poor lawyer to being president unless you have a powerful patron.

I could understand that, but given the position he was in not really a job where you should be compromising on those sorts of things with those sorts of people. Whats the point if the heads of investigating units bend the knee to criminals because they are afraid, just passes the shit down to everyone else.

  1. US intelligence services (FBI, CIA, NSA, etc) should have their charters revoked and redrafted to align with the needs of US citizens as reflected in the US Constitution. Currently they are following their own agenda which tends to support corporate interests and the desires of an elite.
  2. Police are NOT underfunded and overstretched. It only appears so when considering the burdens imposed by "overcriminalization" and the failed "War on Drugs". Police funding & the number of officers needs to be severely slashed and they need to be forced to abandon their roles as "Law Enforcers" and rediscover their mission to "serve and protect" the citizens. They should be relieved of their military hardware and spy equipment. Civil Asset Forfeiture is a crime and should be recognized as such.

^^^ this.

Problem is, once an agency gains the degree of power that the three-letters have, they're not going to give it up willingly, and they can't be made to give it up either, because the NSA has essentially become a malevolent, omniscient demon-god that has all the dirt on everyone, and can leak said dirt anytime anyone threatens its power.

You are exactly right in all of what you have said - (I agree totally) and that is exactly why their willingness is not a matter of consideration. They receive their power from US. One hopes that with an outsider in the Executive office that he would have some measure of latitude that insiders do not possess, both because they have "dirt" on them and their interests align with the "three lettered", but ultimately we have to stop buying into their crap. They need to be rejected by US.

We should start a bet to see how much longer Trump gets to live without being suicided by the puppetmasters.
