It makes sense. He can only lose votes and is unlikely to pick up new ones. This election will be a matter of how many dems turn out vs how many Gops stay home. Moore doesn’t need to give any reason for his nominal supporters to not vote. I have heard that for many Gops he is just the lesser of two evils and not anyone they really like. I can’t help but think that the Gops could have fielded a better candidate than Moore.
