I read the original somewhere. They aren't forced to do this, and this is a complete misrepresentation. They're paid by package and still get minimum wage if it doesn't add up.

They are constantly trying to recruit me. I tell them to fuck off every time because even their high paid employees are treated like garbage. I ain't got time for that.

WTF is up with people who hate their job, but still work there. These people don't even work for amazon. They work for a delivery service that contracts with Amazon. Amazon also ships through UPS, USPS, and a ton of other companies.

It's pretty obviously a tactic to try to gain an advantage through the media as "the poor victims". Fire them so they can go find a job that makes them happy.

I got recruited by Amazon for tech job. They were going to fly me up to Seattle for an interview at their HQ. I told them I wasn't interested. And that's because I knew of their rep as a cutthroat organization that chews up employees.

Nobody has to accept a shitty job.

Did the whole amazon thing for a while and it is true. When I would get into work there would be six large tubs of boxes and a few small hampers of smaller packages. It's a ton for just one person, 10-12 hour days were a regular thing and speeding was almost always being done. Also peeing in a bottle very true.
