WTF is up with people who hate their job, but still work there. These people don't even work for amazon. They work for a delivery service that contracts with Amazon. Amazon also ships through UPS, USPS, and a ton of other companies.
It's pretty obviously a tactic to try to gain an advantage through the media as "the poor victims". Fire them so they can go find a job that makes them happy.

Beyond these problems the delivery drivers have they've had problems in the past where they would force their workers to go so hard without brakes they would commonly pass out in the high heat conditions of their warehouses during the hot summer months

Forces? Like with chains and whips?
Bullshit. They supply water and break times. If you can't work under those conditions as many do, find another job. A company can't force a worker to do anything. As far as their wage, its legal, the pay is what the market will demand and you don't need an MBA to pack a fucking box. If this were the case, Amazon would have lawsuits running out of their ass.

Did the whole amazon thing for a while and it is true. When I would get into work there would be six large tubs of boxes and a few small hampers of smaller packages. It's a ton for just one person, 10-12 hour days were a regular thing and speeding was almost always being done. Also peeing in a bottle very true.

I read the original somewhere. They aren't forced to do this, and this is a complete misrepresentation. They're paid by package and still get minimum wage if it doesn't add up.
