I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that there are now more muslim "Germans" than ever before in Germany. Muslims aren't any friends of the USA.

The poll was restricted to Germans able to vote. Dual-citizen Turks/Germans and naturalized German citizens of Turkish origin would have been among them, but none of the the recent "new Germans".

I'd rather blame East Germans, Aussiedlers from the former bloc and the other Germans of Eastern European origin. They gobble up RT with religious devotion and have a more than healthy distrust of Western media.
